At a massive 265 acres, the Bronx Zoo is the largest metropolitan zoo in the entire United States. The world famous zoo features over 4,000 animals, including the Andean Condor, the largest bird of prey in the world, and Congo gorillas that live within the largest man-made rainforest in the world, the Congo Gorilla Forest. It is located in Bronx Park, across the way from Fordham University.
Open Mon. - Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sat. - Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Adults $15; Children (3-12) $11; Seniors 65+ $13; Children 2 and under are free. Special attractions and rides: $2 - $5 each. Parking: $10.
